Following the recent debacle that befell Congolese maestro Koffi Olomide in Nairobi, visiting Bongo Flava artist Diamond Platnumz is not taking any chances.
The hitmaker jetted into the country yesterday for his much-anticipated Meru concert. Upon landing in Nairobi, Diamond took to social media to joke that he is afraid of stepping on someone, lest he be deported back to Tanzania.
He wrote, “Mnh! Huu mji wa NAIROBI naogopa hata kumkanyaga Mtu kwa bahati mbaya….nisije Rudishwa Bongo bure”
The hitmaker promised fireworks, hinting that the Saturday show will be a rendition of his showbiz life.
“My supporters are my voice. They are the success behind my story. I am told that Meru is ready for me and all I can say is that I am more than ready. Meru will be fireworks. It will be different. It will be Diamond giving his all,” he said.
The concert will be hosted by Radio Maisha at Meru National Polytechnic.
