It has now emerged that celebrated Bongo artiste Diamond Platinumz went through a rough time in Nairobi after his electrifying performance in Meru County on Saturday night.
After arriving in Nairobi on Sunday afternoon from Meru, Diamond and his entourage of approximately eight people went straight to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) only to find that the promoter had not booked their flight.
Instead, the promoter booked a flight for them on Monday night which was contrary to the agreement they had struck with the Bongo Star.
Sources close to Diamond indicated that they toiled looking for a room in Nairobi on Sunday night and it's not clear whether they were successful.
They went back to the room they had booked upon arrival in Nairobi only to find that it had been filled by delegates attending the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD).
Even worse, the promoter declined to foot the bill for Diamond and his entourage, Nairobinewsreports.
It's believed the Number One hit maker was furious over how they were treated by the promoters and it is not clear whether the musician has left the country or is still in Nairobi.
The Tanzania star put up one of the best performances at the Meru Polytechnic grounds.
