“Ali Kiba Is A Liar!” Diamond Platnumz’s Manager says as he spills the tea on Ali Kiba’s diva-ish behaviour

Last weekend, a myriad of great stars took to the ‘Mobasa Rocks’ stage for one of the biggest concerts in Kenya, where Chris Brown and Wizkid were the headline acts.

At some point, Ali Kiba walked off stage and later insinuated that the reason is performance was cut short is because Diamond Platnumz’s manager Sallam SK had headed backstage and switched off his mic.

Something which Diamond Platnumz’s manager denied. Saying that the reason why Ali Kiba’s performance was cut short is because Chris Brown’s entourage wanted him to get on stage as they were running out of time. And the reason they had run out of time was because Ali had delayed to get on stage because he felt that he should perform after Wizkid as he is the bigger star.

His manger also disclosed that he had gone to the event to network with other managers like Sauti Sol’s and the only time he got back stage was during Wizkid’s and Chris Brown’s performance. During Ali Kiba’s performances, Sallam and Wizkid’s manger who also manages Diamond in West Africa had gone into one of the room to have drinks.

He also said that Ali Kibas’s claim that Sallam had gone backstage and switched off his mic was a lie because sound control does not take place backstage but at the front of the stage.

“Sound haikai backstage, sound inakaa mbele ya stage, that is the first thing you have to know. Tuwape elimu wale watu walileta matusi na kunitukana juu ya vile alisema kuna kitu kilifanyika backsatage. Hivo ni kupotosha watu na kuwafanya wajinga na inatakiwa awaombe msamaha.’Sallam said in regard to Ali Kiba’s claim he had switched off his mic.
