Naivasha Billionaire's Wife Speaks on His Death

The family of controversial Billionaire Thomas Cholmondeley who died on Wednesday has finally opened up about his life.

In a statement sent to the media, his wife Sally Dudmesh described her husband as a man with a great passion for Kenya despite his life being deemed controversial.

“Although to some people Tom’s life will be associated with scandals, those who were privileged enough to know him well, will know that he was a man with a great passion,” said Dudmesh.

Expressing her grief in losing the businessman, Ms Dudmesh stated that Cholmondeley was an impressive and generous man even during difficult moments that severally rocked his life.

“I have never met a man with such an appetite for life, who was always happy and never complained, even through the difficult times,” she stated.

She urged that her husband be remembered for the positive projects he had initiated in the country rather than the negatives.

“I know that Tom would wish to be remembered for the wide range of projects that he undertook with great energy,” she added.

At the same time, the family which owns the multi-billion Syosambu ranch in Naivasha confirmed that a postmortem on the deceased had been concluded but further tests were required.

The relatives however, failed o disclose the cause of his death urging for privacy from the media.

The Billionaire passed on at MP Shah Hospital a few hours after undergoing a hip surgery with reports indicating that the family had poked holes on the real cause of his death.
