She said Yes! Footballer Origi proposes to Tanzanian girlfriend

Sorry ladies, but Kenya’s men national football team goalkeeper Arnold Origi is off the market. The 32-year-old engaged his long-time girlfriend, Tanzanian Zulekha Ibrahim Allym, whom he met in Norway where he has been based for the last 10 years.

Full of excitement, Kenya One, as he is christened, took to Instagram to announce the engagement.

Excited Origi took to Instagram and shared a picture of Zulekha with the ring followed by the caption,’’When she realized that by saying yes she’s agreed to be that one special person I want to and am gonna annoy for the rest of my life.#shitjustgotreal”

“She said Yes,” read one of the captions to a photo of Zulekha’s hand holding a bouquet of flowers.

A follow up photo of Zulekha has a more detailed caption that read; “When she realized that by saying yes, she's agreed to be that one special person I want to and am gonna annoy for the rest of my life.”

He is the son to Austin Oduor Origi a Kenyan legend who was a long term captain of Kenyan Premier League side Gor Mahia FC and cousin to Belgian professional footballer Divock Origi who plays as a forward for English Premier League side Liverpool FC. The custodian plays for Lillestrøm in the Norwegian Football Premier League as the first choice goalkeeper.
