Kidero Shockingly Learns of ODM's Meeting to Throw Him Out

A letter allegedly written by Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero to ODM acting Secretary General Agnes Zani has seemingly exposed the wrangles the Opposition could face ahead of the 2017 General Elections.

In the missive, Kidero files a complaint against ODM Director of Elections Junet Mohamed who he accuses of making grievous comments directed to him at a restaurant in Nairobi.

“On Monday the 5th September,2016 at Trattori Restaurant, on Kaunda Street within the CBD, Nairobi, Hon Mohammed, (while in the company of a lawyer aligned to the Jubilee coalition and a county executive member in my government) made statements that have left me gravely concerned with the lack of integrity in the manner in which issues and information concerning our party,” the letter read in part.

According to the Nairobi Governor Mr Mohamed carelessly stated that he (Kidero) was not going to get ODM's ticket to run for the Nairobi Gubernatorial seat come 2017.

“I have information that Hon Mohamed loudly swore to those who were seated with him and within the hearing of the entire restaurant that, I Governor Kidero will not be a candidate of Nairobi since the party has already decided to deny me the party ticket ticket for the 2017 General Elections,” the missive read.

Governor Kidero noted that Mohamed's behaviour was 'careless in the extreme' adding that his continued stay as Director of Campaigns in ODM would only be detrimental to the party.

He further urged Ms Zani to assure him that ODM's nomination will be free and fair.

Here is the letter:
